I am not a fetish

Whenever I check out hookup apps, it saddens me that transgender is considered a fetish/weird/special and exciting thing. I am not a fetish, I am not the “Best of both worlds.” I am a person.

Welcome to Transman Confessions! While secrets, suffering, love and loss are universal, there are some confessions that are unique and distinguishable to transmen alone.

The goal of this page is to showcase all of the myriad of facets within our community, to pay attention to the politics of attraction, body image, language and diversity within the transman community, and to give back to our community which has already had so much taken from it. We believe it is an innate desire to be authentic, and yet we understand how difficult it is to be completely honest even to the ones we love and respect the most.
