birth control vs T?

Hello, Ive been looking on several ftm blogs to see if I could get ANY responses, but I'm a pre T trans masculine person who is on birth control pills (to not get pregnant and that is the only reason.) I'll be soon starting T, is there anyone who remains on the pill and quits when you start taking T? Or do people remain on the pill while taking T until T stops your period? I'm looking to minimize the gap of me getting pregnant (though we do use condoms). If anyone has any experience, thank you
